Privacy Policy
This site and contact process are intended to align with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA) in South Africa.
Who we are
gosai.co.za is a cybersecurity consulting service. For privacy queries, requests, or objections to processing, contact veer@taptic.org.
Information we may process
If you contact us, we may process your name, email address, organisation details, and the information you choose to include in your message. Our hosting provider may also process standard technical data such as server logs required for site delivery and security.
Why we process information
We process personal information to respond to enquiries, assess whether we can provide services, maintain basic records of business communications, protect our systems, and meet legal or regulatory obligations where applicable.
How processing is justified
Depending on the interaction, processing may rely on your consent, the need to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with legal duties, or legitimate business interests that do not override your rights under POPIA.
Sharing and transfers
We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared only with service providers needed to host, secure, or operate our systems, and only where appropriate confidentiality and security measures are in place. If information is transferred outside South Africa, we aim to do so only where permitted under POPIA.
Retention and security
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, to comply with legal obligations, or to resolve disputes. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, or disclosure.
Your rights
Subject to POPIA, you may ask to access, correct, update, or delete personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. You may also lodge a complaint with South Africa's Information Regulator if you believe your rights have been infringed.
